Veneers

Veneers are a versatile, tooth-coloured solution designed to enhance the appearance of your teeth, perfect for addressing issues such as staining, chipping, or small gaps.

Veneers are a natural-looking restoration to improve the appearance of your teeth, often used to help with stained or chipped teeth. Veneers can also be used to close small gaps when braces are not suitable. If one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to create the appearance that it is in line with the others.

A veneer is a very thin, tooth-coloured restoration (like a false finger nail, but more durable) that is bonded on top of your own tooth. Based on your needs, the shape and size of the veneers can be adjusted to make your teeth look longer and/or closer together.

You can have just one veneer fitted or a whole set, known as a smile makeover.

Treatment

For your veneer treatment, you will require two appointments. The first appointment will be to prepare the tooth, take an impression or 3D scan of your teeth and protect it with a temporary restoration.  We will also determine the correct shade your veneer will need to be to match the rest of your teeth. This is sent to the dental laboratory to be made. Your second appointment will be used to fit your custom-made permanent restoration(s).

You can discuss how your treatment works, what will happen in your appointments, and how you can pay for your treatment by speaking with our Patient Care Coordinator Phoebe.
